High modules tie bands over Classical, wedge and Narrow Section series Belts (from 2 bands to 6 bands in a belt)

The Banded belts consist of V-belts joined together across their top surface  by a reinforced cover strip known as Tie-Band. 

Banded Belts are generally used in the drives having pulsation, severe shock loads (vibrations), V-flat drives, clutching and vertical shafts, pumps, crushers, compressors, generator sets, etc.

If instead Classical/Conventional Section Belts are used, pulsating and severe shock loads could result in belt twisting, whipping, turning over or leave the groove completely.

***Sizes are manufactured as per the Customers Band and Length specifications.
